Kevin founded Precision Therapy in 2011 after working in the physical therapy industry for over ten years. Since graduating with his master’s degree from Regis University, Kevin has practiced physical therapy in a variety of outpatient orthopedic settings specializing in the treatment of spine pain and total body strengthening. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Montana and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2000. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is highly trained in trigger point dry needling. In addition to his experience as a clinician, Kevin has been published in the Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology. The various volunteer and charity events Kevin participates in reflects his commitment to the community. These events include leading a team of cyclists who together raised over $5,000 in donations for multiple sclerosis. Kevin is a Colorado native who enjoys fly fishing, cycling, golfing, and snowboarding.

Alyssa Gardner, CPT

Alyssa graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and has recently been accepted physical therapy school and will be starting her Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in the fall of 2013. She has experience as a physical therapy aide in several different therapy settings, and has worked with a variety of conditions and injuries. In addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Alyssa recently became certified in Functional Movement Systems and is a level I snowboard instructor. She enjoys hiking, running, snowboarding, and spending time with her friends and family.

 

Ashley Price, PTA

Ashley graduated from Evangel University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and recently graduated from Pima Medical Institute in December 2012 with an Associate of Occupational Studies as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has worked as a rehabilitation aide for over 5 years in a variety of therapy settings, including trauma and intensive care units. Ashley is very involved in community outreach, working with several non-profit organizations in the Denver metro area, including the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, Redrocks Church, and EPIC -Denver. Formally a college softball player for Evangel University, she has years of experience with hitting and throwing mechanics and has spent time coaching at the high school level. Ashley enjoys her free time playing in softball, flag football, and sand volleyball leagues, as well as, being outdoors, country swing dancing, and spending time with her friends.

 

Dena Powell, ANMT

ADVANCED NEUROMUSCULAR MASSAGE THERAPIST

A practicing therapist since 2003, Dena is well-versed in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Fascial Release, Sports/Performance massage and Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy. As a marathon runner and RRCA Certified Distance Running Coach, she understands the toll intense training can take on one’s body along with first-hand experience with injury prevention and recovery and believes that massage can play an enormous role in both of these areas. She has been fortunate to work with athletes of every level, from youth to pro, in addition to those needing therapy for everyday injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. Her skills allow her to cater each massage to the individual’s needs. She is currently pursuing a certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Having lived in Colorado most of her life, Dena enjoys all that our beautiful state has to offer.
